Allow me to...REINTRODUCE MYSELF

Updated: Aug 3

Hey everyone, you all might know me from my old blog Adventures of a Broken Housewife. If you've never heard of me at all, stop by and visit that blog at authormom5.blogspot.com!

Don't get me wrong, I'm still a housewife and a mom, and an author... It's just that things have changed a lot since I last shared my adventures with you. I'm still married to the same man, we are at 27 years now! I still have my five lovely kids. It's just that they have grown up a bit. My oldest is now a 26-year-old married woman (She was a teenager before). And my baby is now a sassy and smart assy 10-year-old. Yep, I know what you all are thinking; time flies when you're having fun! I am also still an author... sort of. I have almost twenty books on the market (available exclusively at Amazon) but it has been a while since I've written anything. Be patient and I'll tell you all about that in an upcoming blog post!

So, what have I been up to? Well, a lot has been going on. I've been quite busy with my brokenness (physical and emotional) and raising kids, trying to manage a household, and being an indie author.

But before we get into the new, let me get to that re-introduction. My name is JJ Ellis. I'm a 51-year-old mother of 5 kids. Ages 26 to 10. Yep, I got two batches - 26 & 23 and 15, 13, & 10. I've been a wife to the same man for the last 27 years. Way back when, I started to write and have been lucky enough to publish eighteen novels in three different genres - Adult Romance, YA Romance, and MM Romance. I've also published a book with some of the blog posts from the blog I mentioned above.

I bet you're wondering about the broken part though, huh? Well, I've always had back issues, and then I had my last baby and proceeded with a tubal ligation. Since that day, I've had more health issues than you could count on two hands. Pain, stiffness, GERD, hot flashes, night sweats, headaches... and the list goes on. It's the disorder that doctors ignore and patients continue to suffer from called PTLS (Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome) I have also suffered from Depression and Anxiety since I was a teenager. I'm not afraid to admit that some of my brokenness comes from these.

So, what brings me back to writing a weekly blog? Well, I have a nasty case of writer's block that I can't seem to break so I thought maybe writing a short blog post every week might help me get my mojo back.

So... are you up to helping me? All you have to do is stop by every week and enjoy the blogs. I'll do the rest by trying to keep you entertained... and hopefully get my mojo back so I can entertain you all on a larger scale.
